The Catholic News is the Weekly newspaper of the Archdiocese of Port of Spain. Founded in 1892, it is the oldest newspaper in Trinidad and Tobago. Created as a Catholic Community newspaper, it is distributed across the 61 parishes of the Archdiocese as well as to Grenada and St. Vincent.
A staple at Catholic Mass, the newspaper is revered by many readers as a spiritual supplement as it includes the Sunday Mass text and liturgical readings for the week. The newspaper is also home to local and regional features, news and commentary reflective of the Catholic Community.
