Monday August 31st: Who is you?

“And all eyes in the synagogue were fixed on Him.”

Luke 4:16-30

Have you ever preached in your native area
Or tried to evangelize your own family members
All eyes as well as all mouth does be on you.
Sometimes its with admiration, but most times,
it’s with disdain, disapproval and plenty couchoor.
People do be asking,”Boy Who is You?”

Jesus felt the same contempt today,
As we His followers can expect along our way.
But Jesus was adamant about speaking the truth
Like it or not
He wasn’t in any popularity dispute.

Who had ears to hear would hear
And who had eyes to see would see
Was either black or white, wrong, or right
No ifs, ands, buts, or maybes.
No, with Jesus, was clear, bold boundaries

So, people of God, be brave, speak His truth.
Let your voice be heard, even if you are a youth
With all eyes on you, do not be afraid
Many may try to dismiss you, stone you, or put out your light
Continue to walk in righteousness and shine that light BRIGHT!!!
