Matthew 22:1-14
Today’s Gospel reminds us that following Christ, what we call Christian living, is an everyday call. It is important we understand the depth of this call.
Many of us believe in God, in the person of Jesus Christ and we attend Mass regularly but are we taking time to spend with God in prayer? Are we spending time getting to know the Lord of the Scriptures? Are we encountering Christ in service?
We may all be called but few are chosen because sometimes we choose to hear the call but live outside the life of Jesus. We must live what we proclaim to believe.
Lord Jesus, help us to become true missionary disciples. Amen.
