OPT workshop for teens

An Original Pain Therapy (OPT) Youth Workshop—‘Understanding the childhood roots of adolescent behaviour’ was held July 20—24 at the Helen May Johnston Room at Queen’s Hall, St Ann’s. Original Pain Therapist and Trauma Counsellor, Lorraine Pouchet facilitated the workshop.

She said, “It was indeed a privilege and a joy to guide these young people through the workshop. They asked many questions, made new friends and, most importantly, began their journey of inner healing and getting in touch with their inner child.” Here are some of their comments.

“I learnt it’s ok to express your feelings and emotions.”

“I have learnt a lot about why I am the way I am and the root causes of some of my struggles.”

“These 5 days have been exciting and interesting. I wish it could have been longer.”

“This past week has been interesting, helpful and an all-around rollercoaster. It has helped me understand myself.”

“It was really worth it. I feel better and like I let out a lot of stress.”
