Tuesday July 28th: Trust God’s timing

“The one who sowed the good seed is the Son of Man”

Matthew 13:36-43

We often ask God, “Why is this trial taking so long?”  The parable of the good seeds and the weeds reminds us that both coexist until the appointed time. Removing the weeds too early could also uproot the good seeds. God allows the good seeds, His children, to grow and fulfill their purpose. The field is the world, and the weeds represent evil. This Gospel reassures; judgment is certain, and in the end, the righteous will be vindicated while evil and sin will be completely removed.

Be patient, trust God’s timing, and remain faithful until He brings everything to completion. Desperation and fear can tempt us to uproot ourselves before our season is complete, often leading to unnecessary struggles and setbacks, hindering us from strong, unshakable roots, and becoming a beautiful flower among the thorns.

Remember! If we are pulled out prematurely, we run the risk of dying and being more damaged than we already are. There are weeds everywhere!
