Wednesday June 10th: Small Small Things, Big Grace

“Whoever obeys and teaches these commandments will be called greatest in the kingdom of heaven.”

Matthew 5:17–19

Sometimes we look for God only in the big moments, the breakthrough, the blessing, the answered prayer. But faith often grows in the small small things: the patient pause, the honest choice, the apology, the kindness we offer when we are tired.
In the Gospel passage, Jesus reminds us that God’s word is not something to brush aside when life gets busy. He says even the smallest part of the law matters, because every part of God’s teaching points us back to love, truth, and the way we are called to live.
So, in the middle of traffic, work pressure, family demands, school runs, and the daily bacchanal, we are still invited to live with care. Not perfectly, but faithfully.
Because when we honour God in the little things, He shapes something deeper in us.
