Saturday May 30th: What is your authority?

“Who gave you authority to act like this?”

Mark 11:27-33

Are you tired of suffering? One challenge after the other? Enough is enough!

Did you know that you have authority? Yes, you do as a baptized Catholic in Christ Jesus. God has given you, a mere human being, authority, His authority.

We the body of Christ are God’s army. We are Church militant; we are called to stand in the gap and be the breach mender for ourselves and our families.

So, do not be afraid, stand in God’s authority and act. We can act in prayer, word, or deed. If we cannot perform a work or deed, we can always pray. In God there is no distance in prayer. God is always waiting patiently to listen to us.

Let us, therefore, rise up and be the army that God has called us to be. Let us act on the authority which God has given to us, to re-claim our families, our children, our grand-children, and our land Trinidad and Tobago in Jesus’ name.
