‘Blessed, are you if you behave accordingly.’
John 13:16-20
Do you know that you are chosen by God? Yes, you are! God has told us we did not choose Him, He chose us.’
Now that we know that God saw our whole lives, He saw us at our worst, in all our messiness and still chose us, are we willing to change our bad ways, habits and vices, and behave accordingly?
Today, let us look into our hearts to see what is in there: Is it bitterness, un-forgiveness, rejection, trauma, fear, regret from the bad choices we made?
Do not let this day pass by. It is another chance not to look at our character flaws, not to look at our foundation flaws but rather to look at the One who has chosen us. Yes, God has chosen you!
Lord, help me put aside my old self today. Help me to see me through your eyes so that I may behave according, as I come to realize my true worth in you. Amen
