Sacred Heart Girls’ RC School highlights environmental stewardship at Walkathon

Sacred Heart Girls’ RC School hosted its Annual Walkathon and Breakfast on Sunday, March 8, bringing together staff, students and parents under the theme, Caring for God’s Creation.

Aligned with the Catholic Church’s Jubilee Year of St Francis of Assisi, the event promoted environmental awareness and responsible stewardship. Highlights included an interactive wildlife display and the distribution of seedlings to encourage families to adopt sustainable practices through home kitchen gardening.

The initiative reinforced the school’s commitment to fostering environmental responsibility and community engagement.
