Compassion through community outreach

Sacred Heart Girls’ RC School continues to exemplify its commitment to holistic education by nurturing the spiritual and moral development of its students. Rooted in its mission to instil a love of God, the school seeks to guide young ladies toward lives of purpose, compassion and service.

In keeping with this mission, the School partnered with the Geriatric Society of Trinidad and Tobago for its Term Two project, ‘Blessed are the Elders’.

On Friday, February 27, six departments visited various homes for the aged in Port of Spain and environs. Students offered residents companionship, warmth, and meaningful engagement through prayer, entertainment, and donations.

The initiative underscored the importance of intergenerational connection, allowing students to practise empathy and kindness while bringing comfort and joy to the elderly.

Through experiences such as these, Sacred Heart Girls’ RC School continues to shape socially responsible individuals committed to making a positive impact within their communities.
