Thursday February 26th: Ask, seek, knock.

“Everyone who asks receives; everyone who searches finds; everyone who knocks will have the door opened.”

Matthew 7: 7-12

When a seed is buried in soil, it enters a time of darkness and, for the sower, there’s a time of waiting. But it has been planted not buried. It’s the same with our petitions. It is important they get watered with prayer.

Ask, seek, and knock daily even if you feel nothing is happening. Do not become discouraged into thinking that it’s taking too long to see evidence of progress and growth. Unknowing to you, life has started. The process has already begun. In order to be able to hold the weight of the harvest, roots must be anchored much deeper into the soil first.

Unaware of this, many of us abandon the task. We may even compare with another seed which has a shorter germination period, get frustrated and throw in the towel altogether.

I encourage you to persevere my friends. Never give up on asking, seeking and knocking. Your time will come. Water your seeds with prayer and believe. Fertilize with praise and worship to the One who can germinate your Breakthroughs.

He is faithful.
