“Do you have eyes and not see, ears and not hear?”
Mark 8:14-21
Many times, we experience life as ‘same old, same old’. To extract meaning from life, we must live intentionally, living life in the Spirit.
Many of us are searching and sometimes we seem not to find what we are searching for. We may not even know what we are searching for. We may not have the zeal to do what God wants us to do. Why?
We may not be relying on God’s grace but our own efforts. God’s grace is a free gift to help us in this life. It is important to be aware of this grace, pray for it and avail ourselves of this grace through prayer, reading God’s word, Holy Mass, Sacraments, and Christian living. Without grace we will have eyes but not see and ears but not hear.
Lord, fill us with your grace so we can be transformed more and more into your likeness and make this world a better place. Amen
