In today’s world some people feel invisible, unappreciated, and helpless as they go through life. On the other hand, when people experience the transformative power of an encounter with the Lord, all they can do is to let the light of that love shine through their words and deeds.
They cannot help but to share the gratitude they feel on knowing that their sins have been forgiven and their relationship with God has been restored, all because He is love. Now they want to tell everyone they meet about the encounter, so they too can look forward to receiving the kind of love that grows as it is given away. Then both the giver and recipient can serve each other out of love, just as God is love.
Oh Lord I pray that You give us more of You so Your light of love, mercy and grace will shine in the darkness of this world. Amen.
