Wednesday January 28th: It’s a Given

“The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you.”

Mark 4:1-20

I was that girl who loved to dress up to go to church… ok I still am… but every Trini,whether dem does go to church or not, will tell you, “The Bible say render yuh heart and not yuh garment.”

Yuh know that not in the Bible?

I would pray for God’s assistance, yuh know what dey used to tell me?  “The Bible say God helps those who help themselves.”

Yuh know that not in the Bible?

Since I was in Sunday school I hearing “The Bible say money is the root of all evil!!!”  Is only when I get big, I realise that not in the Bible either!

Jesus told His disciples, “The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you.” without doing anything to earn the secrets, God has given it to us. If we don’t understand we can ask him directly through prayer or reading the Bible.

Sometimes faith begins when we dare to question what we were told and discover what God actually said and where God is actually calling us.
