Tuesday January 27th: In Christ’s Circle

“And looking at those sitting in a circle round Him,He said, ” Here are my mother and brothers. “

Mark 3: 31- 35

This one boy. Hmmmn🤔🤔🤔
I read and re-read this scripture passage so many times, trying to glean something from it for myself, and to be able to share. Usually, I get inspiration for my reflections before the Blessed Sacrament, so I went before the Lord in Adoration several times, asking for some clarity. “Lord, please help me with this one.”

Today, while sitting in Adoration once again, the Lord took me straight to His Crucifixion in John 19:25-27. Who was there in that circle at the foot of the cross?
His mother Mary, her sister Mary wife of Clopas, John the apostle, and Mary Magdalene.

“Here are my mother and brother and sisters.” Those in the circle around Me.
So, if you are in His circle, do His will. Be His mother to children everywhere.
Do His will and be a true brother and sister of Christ in your community.

May we strive to do the will of God, and be counted as Christ’s family. His mother, brothers, and sisters.
