Monday January 26th: A house divided will surely fall

‘But no one can make his way into a strong man’s house and burgle his property unless he has tied up the strongman first’.

Mark 3: 22-30

Have I welcomed the new year, made a new year resolution, and have already grown weary and returned to my bad habits, and vices?

Remember everything Satan stands for is death and all sin carries a death sentence. Death to peace, death to joy, death to relationships, death to marriages, death to family life.

Let us then stand not on our strength but on the strength of the Lord Jesus Christ so that no strongman can enter our house and burgle it.

Let us be deliberate in our commitment to prayer, family, ministry, and service. Let us stand confident that our God, who is God Mighty in battle, is on our side fighting for us so that we will be victorious in Christ Jesus.

Lord, arm me with strength for the battle and humble my adversaries before me in Jesus’ name I ask. Amen
