I must remember to do God’s work.
Matthew 4: 12-17, 23-25
It is a brand-new year! How am I going to be different this year? Today’s Gospel provides a blueprint: I must remember to do God’s work.
I have a friend with whom I went to school. I get a link to a Zoom meeting, or a YouTube lecture every Monday morning. She is a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Religion. I have never joined any of her meetings but, the links keep coming. I admire her commitment and fidelity to exposing her friends to God’s message.
I think of a Podcast, I love. I am a Trini, I don’t just like or appreciate, I LOVE this Podcast by Fr. James Martin, S.J. called “The Spiritual Life.” Not once, did I ever think of introducing this podcast to a friend. I beg God to allow me to share Catholic teachings with my friends and acquaintances.
