Tuesday November 25th: Distractions

“Take care not to be deceived”

Luke 21:5-11

Adornments in churches are indeed beautiful but should never be our focus. Many persons on pilgrimages act more like tourists than pilgrims. Posing for photos of the beautiful buildings and the adornments and not on the tabernacles and the fact that our Lord resides within.

” Take care and do not be deceived ”

We scroll social media for hours and hours, giving away our precious time, looking at all the terrifying events occurring in the world today. Nations are fighting against nations. Violent earthquakes, hurricanes, and ‘unnatural’ natural disasters occurring.
We’re fired up about ” End Time” prophecies and proof that we’re living in the last days.

“Take care and do not be deceived”

Let’s keep Christ in the spotlight and
forget all the distractions
He is the One who needs our attention.
Read His Word.
Meditate on it.
Come to Him.
Visit Him.
Focus on Him.

My brothers and sisters in Christ, let’s focus on being ready when Jesus returns.
It doesn’t matter when it will happen. It only matters that we’re ready when He comes.
