Saturday November 15th: We need to pray incessantly

“Will not God then secure the rights of his chosen ones who call out to him day and night?”

Luke 18:1-8

Recently many people have been telling me that they have prayed about things, and nothing is happening. This might even be our own experience.

Prayer is the response of a heart that is turned towards God. Sometimes, when we pray, God will use that prayer to draw us closer to Him. The more we pray, the more the Spirit of God grows within us. This prayer must not be simple lip service, it must be prayer that allows for reflection, trust in God, listening to God through His word, etc.
God desires us and we must always begin with the reference point that God loves us.

A friend always reminds me that there is no such thing as unanswered prayer. Let us trust that God hears and answers us in His own time. But let us allow our faith to grow by constant prayer.

Lord God, we pray for the gift of faith and that we would pray incessantly about everything, trusting in you. Amen
