Wednesday October 29th: Prioritize a place in the kingdom

“Strive to enter through the narrow gate, for many, I say to you, will seek to enter and will not be able.”

Luke 13: 22-30

Lord, I want to see You, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Mary, Joseph and all the prophets in the kingdom of God. I want to thank everyone for their ‘service’ and for being evidence that your kingdom values can be attained on earth. Their life stories have not only saved us from some of the mistakes, pain, and anguish that we encounter, but have also inspired us to place our faith, hope, and trust in you as we strive to enter through the narrow gate.

Lord, keep us focused on the evidence that your will must be done, and prepare us to make wise decisions that align to your teachings.

Lord, we remember that action and inaction have consequences. So, we accept your invitation. Please help us to look forward to joining you and the promise of eternal life whenever you call. We also look forward to a grand welcome into your kingdom, and we don’t care if we are first or last, just so long as we spend eternity with you. Amen
