Learn the Billings Ovulation Method, all year round

“Oh wow!” was the WhatsApp message reply when a client was made aware that women sometimes have a bleed even when pregnant.

Our teaching experience of the Billings Ovulation Method® has revealed some very interesting observations that we are willing to share.

We have come across women who thought they were having their routine menstrual cycle bleed for months and they were fully pregnant—for months!

At BOMA-TT, we offer confidential one-on-one and couple instruction on the Billings Ovulation Method® year-round where women and couples learn the entire Method to achieve pregnancy, postpone pregnancy or monitor women’s health.

Usually, it takes at least three to four months for clients to learn the Method well. The initial instructions are roughly an hour and a half to two hours long. Follow-up instructions are much shorter, usually half-an-hour to an hour.

Follow-up appointments occur every two weeks to ensure the clients are charting properly and utilising the Method correctly. Appointments are available in person or online via Zoom.

We are now offering the new Billings Ovulation Method® Short Course© to all who are interested in learning more about the Billings Ovulation Method® and the science underpinning the Method. This will give participants an understanding of how charting the signs and symptoms of fertility can be used to achieve pregnancy, avoid pregnancy and  monitor reproductive health.

In the previous teacher training programme, some participants were seeking general knowledge rather than formal teacher training, while others found the programme more demanding than expected and did not complete it.

To better meet the diverse needs of our trainees, WOOMB International developed the Short Course© for anyone wishing to deepen their understanding of the Billings Ovulation Method®—its scientific foundations, history, and practical benefits.

Please note while this course equips participants to use the Method and to promote the Method (by giving an overview of it), it does not qualify them to teach it. The Short Course© is, however, a prerequisite for a new Billings Ovulation Method® Teacher Training Course©.

The Short Course© is being offered by BOMA-TT either remotely (via email) or through in-person sessions. The structure consists of four sessions, each broken into three modules.

Participants undertaking the course remotely will have up to six months to complete the full programme. In-person delivery is estimated to take place over three days with each day separated by a month or two for the participants to read the materials covered and answer some questions on their own time.

The in-person Short Course begins on Saturday, October 25 at the Emmanuel Community Centre in Woodbrook from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The remote (email version) Short Course is available at any time.

Contact BOMA-TT to register for either version or to simply book an appointment for one-on-one or couple instruction to learn the Billings Method.
