Festival of Hope Jubilee Year celebration – set to unite all

The Archdiocese of Port of Spain is preparing to welcome all ages across Trinidad and Tobago to a landmark Jubilee Year event—the Festival of Hope. The three-day festival will be held Friday, October 10, to Sunday, October 1,2 at the Centre of Excellence, bringing together Catholics from every corner of the Archdiocese for prayer, fellowship, and renewal.

Admission is free for everyone at the Festival which aims to deepen faith, strengthen community bonds, and inspire renewed commitment to living out the Gospel message of hope. It also seeks to amplify the Jubilee’s spirit of reconciliation, compassion, and unity, shining a light on the vibrant life of the Church and its mission to bring hope to all.

Visitors will experience the Church in dynamic ways across four themed halls:

· Bougainvillaea Hall – featuring a mini-museum on the Church’s structure and history, pastoral and social ministries, and departments and commissions that guide the journey of faith. A food court will also be available.

· Hibiscus Hall – a lively space with entertainment, a marketplace, youth activities, features on the Caribbean Church, Catholic Media and Communications and more

· Torenia Hall – a sacred space for Eucharistic Adoration, prayer, confessions, meditation, Divine Mercy devotions, and a reliquary for petitions.

· Petria Hall – home to D’ Buzz Room, offering TED-style talks to inspire reflection and conversation.

Beyond the exhibits and activities, the Festival invites everyone to come as pilgrims for a day, to share in prayer, bring food items for the poor, shop early for Christmas gifts, and most importantly, bring family and friends to encounter the joy and hope of the Jubilee.

The Festival of Hope promises not only a vibrant showcase of Catholic life but also a spirit-filled journey of renewal and unity for the entire country. For more information, check the following traditional and online channels of the platforms below:
