Surrender Series 24: Surrender as a Sport – The Goal Post

Have you ever sat quietly with God, only to recognise that you had an idea but He had a bigger plan?

Sometimes, this can be equivalent to a game of football, where in the middle of the game, we might get called off the field to rest, but the background activity and the main event are still in progress.

Sometimes, surrender means stopping and changing course in the midst of a plan, not because we had all the answers, but because we had the blessing of awaiting the Lord’s bigger plans.

And like Jeremiah 29:11, our game gets strengthened by the ways in which we listen to His voice.
