

The new executive of the Catholic Students’ Movement (CSM) at the University of the West Indies has been commissioned.
The seven-member executive that will serve for one year was introduced to the membership and others on Thursday, September 4 during Holy Mass at the Management Lecture Theatre on the St Augustine campus.
Vicar General Fr Martin Sirju, the chief celebrant, prayed for and blessed the new executive. Frs Dr Stephen Geofroy, Lindsey John and Mikhail Woodruffe O Carm concelebrated the Mass. University chaplain, Sr Sandra Xavier OP was present and offered her prayerful support on wishing the new executive well.
During their tenure, the new executive intends to do more peer-to-peer ministry on campus. Mass is celebrated every Thursday at midday at the Management Lecture Theatre.
