The July/August vacation break is traditionally when more extensive repairs and refurbishments are conducted by the State at primary and secondary schools. Through collaboration and fundraising, Catholic schools embarked on upgrades and repairs.
Republic Bank staff got together with students of the Presentation College Chaguanas (PCC) Interact Club and Matelot Community College to do some much-needed upgrades. Acting Principal at PCC, Dr Rene Wihby journeyed with the students.
Adults and students worked side by side to repaint the food and nutrition, and computer labs and the main corridor of the College. Republic Bank also donated two stoves, a deep freezer and six laptops.
