Sunday August 10th: Let go and hold on

“There is no need to be afraid, little flock, for it has pleased the Father to give you the kingdom.”

Luke 12:32-48

Be dressed, ready for service.
And keep your lamps burning.
Your Father has been pleased to give you the Kingdom.
Fear not.

Too much fear is paralysis.
Don’t get setup. The world wants to paralyze you.
The powers that be, want your power.
They will find every loophole to extract your resources.
But tell them: ‘who steals my purse steals trash.’ It will go through them like a dose of salts.
Fine print and letters of administration and your property on their name.
Just-so your account empty and they say is a computer glitch and they not responsible.
Protect-and-serve cost billions every year and you have to stand-yuh-ground for yuh own zaboca that yuh plant and water and watch grow from baby.

Too much fear erodes your immune e system.
Let go. As much as you could.
But a little fear may bring light and strength to help you hold-on to the kingdom.
To hold-on to that empty cup that overflows with goodness.
