Sunday July 13th: Find your neighbour!

Don’t get set-up.

Luke 10:25-37

Pray, that you won’t get set-up.

Hear me: Don’t get set-up to think that it is all about you.

You didn’t come here for you. Not for your well-being nor for your survival: even as beautiful and as special as you are with the tremendous amounts of gifts, talents, and blessings you have received. So many presents will remain unwrapped from your birthday until you find out what you come here for.

All these blessings you have received were for you to become strong, beautiful, confident, and self-sufficient for a purpose. Not for you to be haughty, or self-centred, or to have others bow and scrape in your presence before your rich god-self.

You are so richly blessed because you were designed to be neighbourly. Ask Mother Theresa. She didn’t find herself. She didn’t discover her true self nor her true calling until she found out who was her neighbour; who she was chosen, blessed, and anointed to be a neighbour to; and to serve until her cup runneth over.
