Jubilee Family Fun Day

July is Jubilee Family Month! The Archdiocesan Family Life Commission is hosting a free Jubilee Family Fun Day on Saturday, July 19 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Presentation College Grounds, Chaguanas. This celebration honours Jubilee Family Month and the Church’s 2025 Jubilee Year theme

Pilgrims of Hope.

Key highlights:

• Open to all: Families, individuals, parish communities, ministry groups, and clergy are welcome
• Special Needs Friendly: A designated calm, accessible, and inclusive section for children with special needs
• Activities: Board games, team challenges, sports, karaoke, sip and paint, food and drinks, bouncy castle, and face painting
• What to bring: Walk with your picnic basket—food and drink refreshments to share and build community
• Dress code: Vicariate colours (same as the Eucharistic Congress)
• Community atmosphere: Families are encouraged to bring blankets and shareables for picnic-style gathering

The event emphasises play as a tool for connection, aiming to strengthen family bonds and foster community spirit across generations in a joyful, faith-centred atmosphere. It celebrates the concept of families as “domestic churches” where love, hope, and faith flourish.
