Monday June 23rd: Patient Support

We are all wounded by sin and in need of salvation.

Matthew 7:1-5

Our similar spiritual journeys and shared experiences may often unite us. Our differences, however, sometimes cause division as we form opinions of others, compare, and point out flaws while forgetting the planks in our own eyes. Perhaps the things the Father chooses to use as the means for our sanctification are those imperfect areas of our lives.

We are all wounded by sin and in need of salvation. It would do us well to remember that we will be judged by the very same measure we use to judge others. Galatians 6:2 says, “Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” We are better off enduring difficulties together and celebrating victories in the name of Jesus together.

Let us pray for hearts full of compassion, filled with the love of Christ, so that we may patiently support one another along the narrow way.
