The Holy Trinity
“Everything the Father has is mine; that is why I said: all He reveals to you will be taken from what is mine.”
John 16:12-15
Today we celebrate the fact that we are called to share in the inner life of the Trinity, so uniquely one and so powerfully effective. What a blessing!
The Catechism of the Catholic Church reminds us, “Inseparable in what they are, the Divine Persons are also inseparable in what they do.” It has always been part of the divine plan that we enjoy intimacy with God. Imagine, we were thought of before the foundation of the world, created in the image of God, redeemed and reconciled, and empowered to live the destined life.
I may fumble and stumble, but the Triune God, this awesome threesome, has my back and I am brought back on track by the love, mercy, and graces available to me. I pray that I will always live in the love of God experiencing His active presence, see the Blessed Trinity as a model, and through my work and service, participate in God’s plan for the world.
May all I do be done in the name of the Father, the Son, and Holy Spirit.
