I have told you all this so that in me you may have peace.
John 16:29-33
Today, we witness the disciples finally beginning to understand Jesus more deeply. They had previously struggled with His teachings but now start to recognize His divine identity and depth of knowledge.
Jesus, seeing their growth, reminds them that His words are meant to bring peace – a peace that is not defined by the absence of troubles, but by a deep trust in God’s enduring presence and power.
In a world where many silently carry the weight of mental health struggles and the relentless pressure of daily responsibility. These burdens can feel overwhelming and isolating.
Take a moment to acknowledge the weight of your struggles and recall those moments where the peace of Christ broke through your chaos – quiet moment of clarity, unexpected comfort, prayer answered in stillness.
Today, I pray for that peace. For the grace to trust in Christ’s victory over every trial and for the strength to carry on with joy.
Amen.
