La Divina Pastora celebrates Feast Day

Parishioners of La Divina Pastora RC Church, Siparia, a Jubilee Year sacred site in the Archdiocese, celebrated their Feast Day on May 11, also known as Good Shepherd Sunday, with a concelebrated Mass followed by a procession through the streets of Siparia.

Delivering the homily on the theme Mary our hope, Archbishop Emeritus Robert Rivas OP acknowledged that many come to La Divina praying for miracles for their families. Declaring that hope is a big word in this Jubilee Year, Archbishop Rivas urged the congregation to continue praying and never forget what Mary can do.

As May 11 was also Mother’s Day, Archbishop Rivas invited mothers in the congregation to stand for a blessing and urged them to pray for vocations to the priesthood and Religious life.
