Mark 9:38-40
When I was a youngster, I remember seeing a movie about American soldiers in the Vietnam war. American soldiers of many different races and backgrounds were losing the battle because they were constantly fighting amongst themselves.
We too are fighting a war. A spiritual war. The enemy soldiers are quickly advancing on us Christians, because we continue to fight and try to discredit others who are also fighting the enemy….our enemy.
Jesus said “ You must not stop him. … Anyone who is not against us is for us.”
I firmly believe that if Christians would come together, and unite against our enemy, the prince of darkness, and all his agents, we can cause them to retreat and know that they are already defeated.
United we will stand and win.
Divided, brothers and sisters, we will fail… and fall… and lose.
Lord Jesus, help us Your people to join forces against the darkness of this world, and so be victorious against the enemy.
