“Why does this generation seek a sign?”
Mark 8:11-13
In today’s Gospel the Pharisees wanted Jesus to give them a sign to prove that He was God. Many times when we pray we are like that; we want signs from God. However, God wants us to trust in Him.
Yet there are signs of God’s love all around us. All of nature is God’s work of art, each of us, created so unique, is God’s work of art and we can testify to God’s goodness each day.
Today let us pray for the gift of faith, the gift to believe and trust in God no matter what. Lord Jesus, help us to entrust everything about our lives to you. Amen
