“Still some seeds fell on good soil”
Mark 4:1-20
When I was 21 years old my Parish Priest told me to always remember that “Jesus came that I might have life and have it to the fullest”. He said that Jesus did not come for me to only experience one kind of life. That conversation fell on fertile soil and became the foundation of my innermost Christian belief.
What about you? What word of God landed on fertile soil in your life and has kept you on your Christian journey? We go to church every week; we listen to these reflections in the hope of finding that one thing that would stay with us. Sometimes we get it, sometimes we don’t.
Last week my Parish Priest explained the importance of tithing. I have heard about tithing many times and still I felt content with giving $20 in collection. Last Sunday, the words fell on fertile ground and so I will never look at tithing the same.
May God bless your ears to hear the word of God that you need so that it would inspire your Christian journey today.
