Monday January 6th: Go out to meet Him!

The people living in darkness have seen a great light!

Matthew 4:12-17,23-25

Lift your voice it’s a year of Jubilee and out of Zion’s hills salvation comes!
John’s imprisonment was the awaited sign signalling to Jesus that His Mission was about to go public. The wheels that would set salvation history in motion began to turn in hiddenness as Jesus positioned Himself awaiting the Father’s instructions.
Each of us is created with a specific mission. Oftentimes God gives clear signs if we dispose ourselves to hear His voice. To listen and act upon God’s instructions, we must withdraw at times from the noise of the world.
As we say goodbye to 2024 and usher in 2025-a year of Jubilee, let us open the doors of our hearts and allow God’s Holy Spirit to lead us to forgiveness, to freedom, to a chance to begin anew in the light of Christ.
The Lord will come. Go out to meet Him! He is the Prince of Peace. Alleluia!
