Sunday January 5th: From above He came

Feast of the Epiphany

Remember! However dark the road leading into the new year may appear, many stars above and below are waiting to guide us.

Matthew 2:1-12

Stars, we all know, sail across the heavens. They also travel our humble paths, leaving a trail of light to guide our feet. Whil we eagerly celebrate those above, many stars among us often go unnoticed. Only when we lower our eyes will we see them shining in the dark, feel their warmth and the joy they bring.

From above He came, reminding us to lower our eyes to the ground and discover the many stars hidden there: His image in every face, His glory in the darkest place.

Then our journeys will no longer be measured in miles. We will travel from darkness to light, fear to hope, sadness to joy. From the shadow of death, we will rise to the heavens where a Loving Father awaits all who come bearing their finest gifts. He will give in return the reward He promised: life in the Father’s House. And Heaven and Earth will be joined once more. Forever.

Remember! However dark the road leading into 2025 may appear, many stars above and below are waiting to guide us.
