Wednesday December 25th: A demonstration of God’s Love

“And from His fullness have we all received, grace upon grace.”

John 1:1-18

All things were made through Him, and without Him was not anything
made that was made. Beloveds, could we echo the fact that without God we are
nothing. Everything in existence owes its being to the Word and the Word
was with God and the word was God.

In Him was life and the life was the light of men. Which darkness, has
power over our God? None, nothing at all. He is the light that overcame the
world. May we remember the love our God demonstrated, when He gave
His only son, so we can live. A sacrifice, realizing that authentic
discipleship is self giving – self denial.

The creator enters the world and yet the world did not know Him. This wondrous Christmas day, may we reflect on His love. For those who believe in the Word and action it, are granted new life, a spiritual rebirth initiated by God. The divine takes on human nature, living amongst us and revealing God’s glory. Jesus is the path to understanding God and receiving eternal life.
