Matthew 1:18-25
Today’s Gospel reminds us that we are called to allow ourselves to be filled with the Word of God so that we can bring forth God in this world, Emmanuel.
God’s word is no ordinary word and it is important for us to create a habit of filling ourselves with the Word of God everyday. This surrender to the Word will transform our lives so that we can witness to an Emmanuel way of life, a way that brings God into events and situations.
Lord Jesus, thank you for filling us with your self. Help us to live an Emmanuel way of life and witness to your presence in people, situations and events. Amen
