In a world marked by uncertainty and fleeting promises, Christ’s words offer us a solid foundation.
Luke 21:29-33
Jesus tells us, “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.” This profound statement reveals the unchanging and eternal nature of God’s Word. The world around us is temporary; everything we know — our possessions, achievements, even the earth itself — is subject to change and decay. But God’s Word remains constant.
In a world marked by uncertainty and fleeting promises, Christ’s words offer us a solid foundation. His teachings, His promises, and His love endure beyond time and space. When we face challenges, or fear the unknown, we can trust that Jesus’ words will guide and sustain us.
This truth calls us to build our lives on the rock of His Word. If everything else fades away, what will remain is the enduring promise of God’s Kingdom, His love, and His invitation to eternal life. Trust in His Word — it is our anchor in all things. The Psalmist says it well: “Your word is lamp for my feet and a light for my path.” (Ps. 119:015).
