He searches and when he finds, He rejoices in what has been restored.
Luke 15: 1-10
The passage has a vast amount of content that creates a busy scene, but I would like to zero in on the fact that our God does not like to lose His belongings. However, if we somehow become lost, thankfully, our God searches,
He has made this His mission; to search but not merely search, He would search everywhere to the very end and seek out the lost to invite them back home.
In following Jesus, we may often find ourselves lost many times. The pressures of life, worries, preoccupations, and secular fixations can cause us to get distracted and cause us to stop the good walk or even worse, take the wrong path. What are the things that can make us feel lost? Can we hear the voice of Jesus, the Good Shepherd calling us back?
Making time to talk to God every day and expressing the desire to hear His voice and follow or return to Him will assist in hearing the call to return home.
