Tabaquite prayer walk

Members of the Roman Catholic community in Tabaquite joined other faith-based organisations and residents in a prayer walk and peaceful protest on October 20.

The event was organised to address critical issues that have plagued the area for months including rising crime brought about due to the absence of a police station, and the poor condition of the roads making transportation difficult.

Community leaders are hopeful that their voices will be heard by the relevant authorities and residents vowed to continue working together, looking out for one another, and engaging in positive activities that foster community well-being.
