Tuesday November 5th: I accept Your invitation

The next thing I know it is 10.00 a.m., and I have not prayed as yet.

Luke 14: 15 – 24

There are so many times I have woken up and started doing something, I deemed to be urgent and realized I had put off praying.
A good example, “is when water come” as we say in Trinidad. I can save my precious water stored in my tanks.
I begin doing the laundry, I water my plants and do all the things one does with water. The next thing I know it is 10a.m., and I have not prayed as yet.
I promise my self and God, each time this happens that I will always remember there is nothing more important than spending time with Him, especially, the first thing in the morning.
It always amazes me, when I take time to pray before doing my “water chores” the water always lasts until the work is done. What is even more amazing, I never feel that sense of urgency that I experience when I start my day without praying.
