“And they brought him a deaf man who had an impediment in his speech; and they asked him to lay his hand on him.”
Mark 7: 31-37
Before belief, life is in the darkened tomb. Everywhere is so closed and shut-in that no light enters. Real life is at a standstill, waiting to be born.
And when you believe, everything is opened-up. Heaven and earth welcome you. You enter with your stride of perseverance; don’t you hesitate. Listen and heed the groan of the Master looking up to heaven and beseeching the Father to open wide the gates to the kingdom.
Here is my child who is now a believer. All bridges repaired with handrails in place, footpath marked out, verges cleaned and straightened, and lighted up.
There is no handicap that handicaps; no impediment that impedes; no obstruction that obstructs or debars you from entering. The water that has been made turbulent into a storm makes your stride stronger.
Every thorn is a thistle. If it gets dark, just whistle, and the road will be opened-up for you. Your eyes will see new light and your tongue will be loosened to spread the good news of the kingdom.
