When I started working at my new job the place was dismal. So, I started changing things up. I wore bright beautiful colors to work and became a breath of fresh air. Soon people changed from being sad and dismal to happy and bright.
Then I began to feel attacked. Before you knew it, I was walking with my head down, feeling fearful to draw attention to myself by dressing up and started keeping to myself.
I became the man with the one talent. I hid who I was out of fear. I stopped using the gifts God gave to me. I still had the gift, but I just wasn’t using it there anymore.
Were you generous, kind, or helpful and you stopped because of people? Ask yourself right now what are going to tell God when he asks about that talent. Because whatever the reason you stopped being who God intrinsically made you is not good enough.
So go out today and use your God given talents to make the world a better place.
