Rejuvenate your spirit at Growing in Grace Women’s Conference

By Bernadette Patrick

As women navigating roles in life, including mothers, daughters, professionals, and caregivers, we understand the importance of nurturing our bond with God amid our schedules.

The upcoming 7th annual Growing in Grace Women’s Conference on Sunday, September 8 at St Mary’s College’s Centenary Hall is not just an event—it’s a chance to rejuvenate your spirit, reaffirm your beliefs, and connect with a community of women on similar paths.

Experience a day brimming with inspiration as we delve into the theme, Every Woman’s Journey; Embracing Our Dignity, Vocation and Mission in the Church and the World from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Anticipate engaging discussions, soul-stirring melodies and enriching camaraderie that promise to uplift your soul.

Meet our speakers—women eager to impart their knowledge and insights to empower you on your journey, towards grace.

Renowned speaker Gloria Purvis, who recently delivered a keynote address at the US National Eucharistic Congress will be delivering the feature address. With her background as an author, commentator and podcast host, Gloria brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to her ministry that’s sure to resonate with every woman present.

We are also privileged to have Dr Adanna James, Dean of Studies at the Seminary of St John Vianney and the Uganda Martyrs, Mt St Benedict sharing insights on the strength found within every woman. Her words will encourage you to embrace your role as a leader in your family and community.

Furthermore, attorney Natasha Lamy-Ramsden, host of ‘Leap of Faith’ (Trinity TV), will discuss the challenges women face in balancing motherhood, Church involvement and a career.

Carol Marquardt, from the United States and founder of Spiritual Mothers in Lay Evangelization will delve into the concept of spiritual motherhood and its importance in today’s world.

Throughout our time, 424 Music, a young-adult music ministry, will lead us in moments of praise and worship. Their melodies aim to create an atmosphere to worship and reflection that draws us nearer to God’s heart.

Growing spiritually

Participating in the Conference is an investment in yourself—emotionally and interpersonally. It serves as a day for you to listen, learn and be empowered to live out your faith completely.

In a world that frequently demands more than we can offer, this gathering provides a needed respite to concentrate on what holds significance: our connection with God and our faith, and our part in His design.

Be revitalised, fortified, and motivated to embrace your appointed calling with grace and assurance. Whether you come accompanied by friends or venture solo, you will discover that this day marks a grace-filled moment in your life.

Please see the advertisement for further details and get your early bird tickets. All clergy and Religious have a free invite. Please call the numbers in the ad to reserve your spot.
