Chaguanas parish campers tour Red House

The July-August vacation has come to an end but for some kids it would be a vacation to remember. Just ask youngsters 6 to 17 from the St Philip and St James RC Church in Chaguanas who had fun during an art camp held in early August.

They participated in activities such as making stained glass in the shape of a leaf, a version of the cross made out of stained glass, and a collage of a landscape as well as many other activities.

The group also went on a field trip to the St Ann’s RC Church, and paid a visit to the Red House to view an exhibition on the steelpan. They later toured the Upper and Lower Houses of Parliament where they learnt about the history of the Red House.
