Come relish the delights of the Holy Spirit over nine evenings of praise, worship, and dullness-defying talks at St Theresa’s Parish, Woodbrook, as we pray the Holy Spirit Novena from May 10–18, nightly at 6 p.m.
Our presenters include Deborah de Rosia of the Eternal Light Community and Frs Robert Christo, Steve Ransome, Peter St Hillaire, Maurice White and Eliaza Mulemba.
Each night, we’ll focus on one theme from the book, Titles of the Holy Spirit: A Manual for Prayer and Praise Based on the Titles of the Holy Spirit by Keith A Fournier.
Parish priest, Fr Carlyle Guiseppi CSSp, brought the devotion to our Woodbrook parish last year having been introduced to it in 1990 while based at the Church of the Resurrection in La Horquetta, Arima. He has since taken it to every parish in which he has served, most recently, Our Lady of Good Counsel Caribbean Catholic Church in Toronto, Canada, where he was posted for almost 15 years.
On Saturday and Sunday evenings during the novena period, Masses at the parish remain at 5 p.m. Security will be provided for cars parked in the street. Come make space for the Holy Spirit to set a new fire in your life, your family and in our country.
