Hardbargain RC welcomes visit from Mounted Branch

In March, the students and staff of  Hardbargain RC were proud to host the Mounted Branch. The officers came ready to field questions about their place in our security services and the active role these animals play in keeping us safe. The students were eager to learn of job opportunities in this arm of our security services.

The Standard 5 students bombarded the officers with questions such as:

1. How many horses they take care of?
2. How long does one train to ride the animals?
3. What is the most difficult aspect of their job?
4. How does one put on a horseshoe for the horse?

Each of our approximately 140 students got the opportunity to ride the horses and chat informally with our guests.
