“A strong wind was blowing, and the waters grew rough.”
John 6:16-21
So, wait nah, this making real sense in truth! Is when Jesus didn’t join dem yet that “ah strong wind came blowing and waters grew rough”. This is exactly how ah does feel when ah playing big man and feel ah could handle it on my own. Now, I sure dem disciples didn’t think that they woulda need Jesus, after all, most of them were fishermen. No rocket science in that. Dem know de sea! Not so?
Now ah not saying that once yuh believe in God, yuh wouldn’t have some difficulties now and then eh. No, but I does see and feel ah real difference when I go to de Father first, just like with the disciples when “immediately the boat reached the shore where they were heading” (v21) they let Jesus into the boat.
As we continue this season of Easter, ah pray that ah continue to remember, that there is nothing too small for me to seek God’s guidance first.
Jesus, be with me when de water rough, smooth, or in between.
